Melanoma Visual Risk Calculator is an app that lets the user evaluate a pigmented skin lesion using visual analogue scales for each of the ABCDE criteria. This results in an approximation of the risk of the lesion being a malignant melanoma.
The scientific foundation of this calculation is based on the article "Semiological value of ABCDE criteria in the diagnosis of cutaneous pigmented tumors." by Thomas L, Tranchand P, Berard F, Secchi T, Colin C, Moulin G. published in Dermatology. 1998;197:11-17.
